Terms, license & withdrawal
Last updated: 25 October 2026. Plain English first. These terms apply to oakandtally.com and to the Oak & Tally templates.
1. Who sells to you
Our templates are sold through Gumroad. Gumroad, Inc. is the merchant of record and the reseller: you buy from Gumroad, Gumroad takes payment, calculates and charges any sales tax or VAT, issues your receipt and delivers the download. Gumroad's own terms (gumroad.com/terms) apply to the purchase itself. Oak & Tally (Fizza Adeel Edhi, see the Impressum) makes the templates, grants you the license below and provides support.
2. What you get
Each product is a digital download: spreadsheet files (.xlsx) for Microsoft Excel 2016 or newer, a Start Here PDF and a link to make your own Google Sheets copy. Nothing is shipped. The product page lists the exact files. Prices are shown in US dollars; Gumroad may show the price in your currency and adds tax where it applies.
3. Your license
- You may use the templates in your own business, for as many shops as you run yourself, and change them as you like.
- You may make copies for your own use and backups.
- You may not resell, share, give away or upload the files or the Google Sheets link, in original or changed form, or offer them as part of another product.
- One purchase covers one person or one business. For a team or a client license, write to us.
4. Right of withdrawal for consumers in the EU, EEA and UK
If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you normally have the right to withdraw from a contract for digital content within 14 days without giving any reason. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, this right ends when the download or access starts, if you expressly agreed before purchase that we may begin supplying the content before the withdrawal period ends, you acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once supply begins, and you received a confirmation of this (§ 356(5) BGB; Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU).
Because your files are available immediately after payment, every product page carries this notice before checkout:
Instant download. By completing your purchase you expressly agree that the download starts immediately, before the 14-day withdrawal period ends, and you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the download is made available.
If that consent and acknowledgement were not given or confirmed, the normal 14-day right applies. To withdraw, send a clear statement (for example an email to [email protected], or through Gumroad) within 14 days of purchase. You don't need to give a reason, and you can use this model form:
To Fizza Adeel Edhi, Oak & Tally, Gsteinig 17, 73098 Rechberghausen, Germany, [email protected]: I hereby withdraw from my contract for the following digital content: [product], ordered on [date]. Name, Gumroad receipt email, date.
If you withdraw in time, the full payment is refunded through Gumroad, using the original payment method, within 14 days, and you must delete the files and any copies.
5. Our support promise
If a template doesn't work as described, tell us within 30 days and we will help you fix it. If we can't, we'll refund you. This is in addition to your legal rights, which it does not limit.
6. Not advice; how the templates work
Our templates are organizing and estimating tools. Fee rates, tax set-asides, mileage rates and due dates are editable examples with a date on them; check your own current figures. Nothing on this site or in our products is tax, legal or accounting advice, and results depend on the data and rates you enter.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of an essential contractual obligation, limited to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract. Statutory warranty rights for digital products (§§ 327 ff. BGB) remain unaffected.
8. Other
German law applies, except that if you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live also apply. Etsy is a trademark of Etsy, Inc.; Oak & Tally is independent and not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Etsy, Inc.
